- MicroC™ Premium Carbon Sources are proprietary wastewater treatment chemicals developed by Environmental Operating Solutions, Inc.
- There are currently three products under the MicroC™ Premium Carbon Sources umbrella: MicroCg™ and MicroCm™ are carbohydrate-based products and MicroCglycerin™ is a crude glycerin-based product.
- MicroC™ Premium Carbon Sources are designed specifically for use as electron donor/carbon sources for wastewater denitrification applications
- MicroC™ Premium Carbon Sources are developed in response to two main factors:
- The shortcomings of existing carbon sources in terms of (1) safety, (2) economics and (3) environmental sustainability.
- The trend among communities and regulators to reduce nitrogen pollution by placing increasingly stringent nitrogen limits on wastewater treatment plants.
- MicroC™ Premium Carbon Sources have been validated through the largest denitrification systems suppliers in the industry and commercial use at a large number of wastewater treatment facilities.
