Environmental Operating Solutions, Inc. Announces that MicroC 1000™ and MicroC-2000™ Achieve USDA Biobased Certification
Bourne, MA (July 28th, 2011) - Environmental Operating Solutions, Inc. (EOSi) announced today that its MicroC 1000™ and MicroC 2000™ products have been accepted into the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) BioPreferredSM program.
The USDA BioPreferred program, authorized under the Farm Security and Rural Investment Act of 2002, is designed to promote the awareness and use of biobased products as an alternative to products derived from non-renewable materials. The USDA employs a stringent qualification process for certification and requires that products be composed wholly or significantly of biological ingredients (plant, animal and marine materials). The "USDA Certified Biobased Product" label ensures that the USDA and Federal Government stand behind the accuracy and consistency of the biobased content displayed on the label.
